Volunteers and Sponsors Needed for 5K Run
HSDC is planning our first annual "Doggie Dash" 5K Run and
1-Mile Fun Walk in the July/August 2005 timeframe but we need your help to make it happen!
If you have the time and interest to help with our important "Doggie Dash" fundraiser,
the Humane Society is seeking committee members and volunteers to lead the organization and execution of
this exciting event! The run will be held at Montgomery Bell Park in Burns to raise funds for
our shelter and encourage area citizens to lead more active lives by exercising with
their pets. The race will be followed by
a fun fair, meal, and free concert by Amadeus Community Orchestra.
Please contact Channing Rollo (615-441-8686 or channing@copyshark.com) if you are interested
in helping to organize the run!
The Humane Society also invites area businesses to serve as race sponsors, especially those
that advocate fitness, health and wellness. Please contact Channing Rollo (615-441-8686 or channing@copyshark.com) if you
are interested in sponsoring the run!
