Pups on Parade

Buckner Park
In our recent newsletter, we reported that Pups on Parade would be held on April 19th at Buckner Park.
In years past, we have held Pups on Parade in October and when we let the dogs know there had been a change,
they let us know they prefer October. Therefore, we have decided to move it back to October. Please mark your
calendar for October 11th and stay tuned for more details on the event!
Yard/Bake Sale

On April 26th, we will be having a yard sale/ bake sale to benefit the Humane Society.
Proceeds will go to help with Shelter Repair Day. The sale will be held at The Carpet Shoppe at
207 Henslee Drive from 7 am to 12 noon. If you would like to donate items to the sale please contact
Renee at 415-4761. Please come out and shop, we will have many different items and plenty of
delicious baked goods.
Shelter Repair Day

May 31st will be shelter repair day. We will start our day at 8 am and work until we are finished.
All types of help and skill will be appreciated as we have a wide variety of repairs to be made.
Special skills such as a licensed plumber and electrician are also needed, so if you have those skills
or know someone that would donate their time, we would really appreciate it.
Break out your paint
brushes and hammers and please join us in improving our shelter. If you are interested in helping or making a

Bowling Tournament

Thunder Alley in Dickson
Break out your colorful bowling shoes and join us on June 21st for our 1st annual bowling tournament
at Thunder Alley. Play will begin at 1:00 pm and will be fun for the whole family. We will be playing
9 pin no tap, which is designed for the most skilled and un-skilled players to have fun. The cost is $25
per person or $100 for a 4 person team. If you own a business, you can advertise by sponsoring a lane.
For a $100 donation, you will get a sign with your business information on it. Thunder Alley will hang this sign
on one of their lanes for one week. If you would like to play or sponsor a lane, please call Renee at 415-4761.
